ATS – Philippines, having been accredited since June 17, 2010 is fully capable of carrying out all inspections destined for the Philippines to aide and expedite any and all necessary documentations for importers to receive their product. The main objective to ATS accreditation is to provide swift, accurate and cost effective services to establish advance cargo clearance and to work alongside the Philippine Bureau of Customs so that all bulk and break bulk cargo specifications and quality assurances are met. What you, the importer need to do: Before or at time of purchasing, you must advise the exporter/supplier of the requirement by the BOC that all bulk and break bulk cargoes are to be inspected by an accredited survey company. ONLY survey companies having been accredited by the CACSC can carry out inspections. Importer or Exporter must contact our office and provide us with all of the following information and documents if available:
What we do: ATS will provide prompt and accurate surveys on bulk and break bulk cargoes imported into the Philippines. Once all surveys are completed, an LPS (load port survey) report is created and issued electronically with top level security standards to the Bureau of Customs. Once the BOC receives all reports, the importer can then proceed to file entries and pay customs duties and taxes prior to cargo reaching its final destination at various ports of the Philippines. ATS can provide inspection and survey services throughout the entire globe through our vast network of offices.
